# Update Contact Details

1\. To change your phone number, click the ![](https://firebasestorage.googleapis.com/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F-M_-ylVb0hvxbUXyo5fz%2Fuploads%2FkbdiRDRwjQkovU7Qq5dN%2Ffile.png?alt=media) icon in the upper right corner of your screen and select **Update User Details**.

2\. Enter your new phone number, select its Country Code, and click **Get verification code**. You will receive an SMS message with the  verification code.

3\. Enter the code and click **Submit**.
